Living Beyond Breast Cancer will hold its third healthcare provider webinar on Wednesday, February 12, from Noon – 1 p.m. ET, titled, “Addressing Health Disparities to Improve Care of Africa-American Women Affected by Breast Cancer.”
The Silpada Foundation raised more than $295,000 for LBBC through sales of the Bravery Bracelet, which features pink quartzite beads, a sterling silver “Courage” tag and support ribbon charm, and an adjustable clasp. A limited number are still available; for every $39 bracelet sold, $10 benefits LBBC.

We are proud to announce that Living Beyond Breast Cancer is a partner of #GivingTuesday, a national day of giving that celebrates and encourages activities that support charities and nonprofit organizations.
Our national survey, open until midnight PT on Jan. 10, 2014, assesses the unique information and support needs of all women with breast cancer. Survey findings will help us identify and address gaps in services for people with specific breast cancer diagnoses, such as triple-negative, hormone-positive or HER2 positive.

Living Beyond Breast Cancer will offer live call hours on our toll-free Breast Cancer Helpline, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. ET, beginning November 4.
In preparation for the opening of states’ Health Insurance Marketplaces established as part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Living Beyond Breast Cancer is pleased to announce the launch of the Cancer Insurance Checklist—a tool designed to help people currently diagnosed with, with a history of, or at risk of developing any type of cancer navigate their states’ Health Insurance Marketplaces or Exchanges.
