lbbc.org has a new look, just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Our redesigned site features a robust online community with increased opportunities to connect with others and get information tailored to your needs.
Learn what it’s like to face the complex medical, psychosocial, emotional, legal and financial challenges of the disease from women, family members, friends and caregivers who have been there. Read and respond to posts on our blog, submit your tips for living beyond breast cancer, share content via email and social networking sites and learn how to take your breast cancer experience to the next level.
Have questions about breast cancer? Get them answered during our new ask-the-expert series. Each month, we will ask a breast cancer expert to respond to your questions on a specific topic. Answers to select questions will be posted on lbbc.org throughout the month.
If you want to talk with someone who understands what you are facing, you can request a call from a trained volunteer in similar circumstances. Fill out our online form, and a Helpline volunteer will contact you by phone within 24 hours.
An enhanced events section allows you to quickly and easily learn about and register for Living Beyond Breast Cancer's educational and fundraising events. View a list or calendar display of upcoming events, sort by event type and access an event archive of transcripts, recordings and slides.
Other highlights of the new website include a user-friendly navigation and library of resources; a powerful search tool; interactive graphics; multimedia resources including video, podcasts, transcripts and print publications; and more in-depth information on breast cancer, LBBC medical experts and corporate partnerships.
This is the second major redesign of LBBC’s website, which was originally launched in 1995.
