PHILADELPHIA — October 1, 2009 — During the month of October, consumers can support women affected by breast cancer while upgrading their wardrobes at the same time. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, White House | Black Market, Chico’s and Soma Intimates will offer special collections and events benefitting Living Beyond Breast Cancer (LBBC), a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life.
White House | Black Market is once again infusing a touch of pink into its signature shades of white and black by creating the exclusive Give Hope Collection. White House | Black Market will donate 100% of net proceeds up to $200,000 from the sale of every Give Hope Jean, Tee, Watch and Key Ring to Living Beyond Breast Cancer. To date, White House | Black Market has donated over $550,000 to LBBC.
Chico’s will also contribute to Breast Cancer Awareness Month with its limited-edition Girls in Pearls Collection. This specially crafted jewelry collection contains a faux pearl bracelet with heart-shaped charm and glass ribbon and a set of matching faux pearl earrings. Chico’s will also donate 100 % of net proceeds from the sale of its Girls in Pearls earrings and bracelet to LBBC.
Customers will also have a chance to complete their outfits at the Soma Intimates national VIP shopping event. The event will take place Thursday, Oct. 22 through Sunday, Oct. 25 in Soma Intimates boutiques nationwide and the online store. A percentage of the net proceeds will be donated to LBBC.
The exclusive "Give Hope" and "Girls in Pearls" collections will be available only during the month of October at White House | Black Market and Chico’s boutiques nationwide and online. Samples and photography can be provided upon request.
