Numbers that make a difference. This sampling of numbers are snapshots of a broad portfolio of programs and support services offered by Living Beyond Breast Cancer for women affected by the disease each year.
This year, about $3 million will be generously donated from individuals, companies, foundations and other supporters to make sure that these numbers grow to meet our mission of connecting people with trusted breast cancer information and a community of support. We consider these gifts to be investments in the health and well-being of those who reach out to LBBC for information and support.
We mean business when it comes to your money. At least 83 cents of every dollar goes directly to programs and services, an exceptional statistic in the nonprofit world. Our four-star “exceptional” rating from Charity Navigator, awarded for the 5th consecutive year in 2010, speaks volumes. We are serious about stewarding your gifts in a responsible and transparent way.
“Living Beyond Breast Cancer consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way, and outperforms most other charities in America.”
