She explains why diagnosing breast cancer in young women can be complicated and why some young women tend to be diagnosed with aggressive breast cancers or more cancers at later stages. She discusses the risks and benefits of ovarian suppression and a new trial looking at ovarian suppression plus tamoxifen or aromatase inhibitors. Dr. Partridge explores updates to genetic testing and provides information on the risks and benefits of MRI. She also highlights the emotional impact of breast cancer in young women.
