Cancer and its treatment can rob you of your energy, appetite and strength. But it doesn't have to take away your self-confidence.
Look Good...Feel Better is a free program that teaches beauty techniques for women with cancer who are in active treatment. It will help you combat the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. During Look Good...Feel Better sessions, trained volunteer licensed beauty professionals teach you how to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry.
Look Good...Feel Better is a joint, collaborative program founded by the American Cancer Society, the Personal Care Products Council Foundation (PCPCF), and the National Cosmetology Association (NCA).
If you have a type of cancer other than breast, please call the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Helpline at (888) 753-LBBC (5222) for names of other resources or the American Cancer Society at (800) 227-2345 to find out about other Look Good...Feel Better sessions coming up in your area.
