Whether you are undergoing hormonal therapy or are considering it with your healthcare provider, understanding the possible side effects and how to manage them effectively will help you minimize discomfort and lessen the impact on your day-to-day life. 

During this program, Evelyn Robles-Rodriguez, RN, MSN, APN-C, AOCN, will help you understand:

  • Methods to effectively manage the side effects of hormonal therapy
  • Lifestyle changes that aid in the relief of side effects
  • Tips to discuss ongoing concerns with your healthcare providers

About Our Speaker

Evelyn Robles-Rodriguez, RN, MSN, APN, AOCN, is an oncology advanced practice nurse at Cooper University Hospital in the division of hematology and oncology. Ms. Robles-Rodriguez serves as director for oncology outreach programs.She manages the planning and development of the Camden County Cancer Screening Project, the Cancer Education and Early Detection program for Camden County,New Jersey. This program for uninsured people living in Camden County provides outreach, education and screening for breast, cervical, prostate and colorectal cancer. 

Ms. Robles-Rodriguez is involved in managing other cancer community outreach and education efforts, including programs for genetics and national prevention trials. She writes grants for many government and foundation opportunities and serves as principal investigator for many funded research and community programs. 

Ms. Robles-Rodriguez is bilingual in English and Spanish, and she is committed to the cancer education of the lay and professional community. She regularly lectures to nursing and other professionals, cancer support groups, schools and the lay community.
