About Our Speaker
Don Dizon, MD, FACP, is a medical oncologist specializing in the care of women’s cancers. He joined Massachusetts General Hospital in July 2012 at the Gillette Center for Gynecologic Oncology. He is an associate professor in obstetrics and gynecology and medicine at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, and an assistant in medicine at Harvard Medical School. For the last nine years he has been the director of medical oncology at the program in women’s oncology at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island.He serves as a deputy editor in oncology and cancer survivorship at UpToDate,an online resource that provides doctors with evidence-based information to help them improve the care and quality of their services.
