About Our Speaker

Don S. Dizon, MD, FACP, is a medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of women’s cancers. He joined the Gillette Center for Gynecologic Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital in July 2012. An associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology, and medicine, at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University, he also serves as an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School. For the last 9 years he has been the director of medical oncology for the Program in Women’s Oncology at Women and Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. He serves as a deputy editor in oncology and cancer survivorship for UpToDate, an online resource that provides doctors with the latest evidence-based, clinical information to help them improve the quality of their care.
