The Annual Conference for Women Living with Metastatic Breast Cancer is designed to address the complex medical, social and emotional challenges that you as well as your family and caregivers face. At this event, participants:

  • Gained tools for understanding metastatic breast cancer, making informed decisions and living with the disease during three plenary sessions and more than 15 workshops
  • Networked with peers and share your experiences
  • Browsed exhibitor tables
  • Connected with presenters, caregivers and healthcare providers

Our plenary speakers this year were Andrew D. Seidman, MD, who discussed advances in care for metastatic breast cancer; Wendy G. Lichtenthal, PhD, spoke about finding meaning while living with metastatic disease; and Linda and Bob Carey, founders of the Tutu Project, discussed Linda’s experience as a woman living with metastatic breast cancer, how they coped with it as a family, and the creative project they created based on this unique life experience.
