Astra Zeneca Hope Lodge

The AstraZeneca Hope Lodge of the American Cancer Society in the Greater Philadelphia area is a 30,000 square-foot facility that will provide temporary, free housing for an annual average of 1,300 cancer patients and their caregivers. Transportation to and from local treatment centers is also available.

Chestnut Hill Hospital Cancer Center Wig Bank

Hats, turbans, scarves and wigs for hair loss due to cancer treatments are available for free to Chestnut Hill Hospital patients.

Delaware County Memorial Hospital

Provides free screenings and services as part of the Healthy Woman Program.

Horse Power for Life

A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing free lessons and other horse related activities for cancer patients of all ages and their families. It is their goal to improve the physical and emotional quality of life for students as they learn about horses and how to ride in an atmosphere of professionalism, teamwork, and fun.

A small professional staff and 1,000 dedicated volunteers bring over 40,000 nutritious, freshly prepared, home-delivered meals each month to individuals and families living with a life-threatening illness. MANNA dieticians promote wellness through nutrition education and counseling. Through these services, MANNA provides opportunities for caring people to extend loving support to families, friends, and neighbors in the Delaware Valley.

Montgomery County Health Department

Works with several local hospitals to provide free screenings and services to eligible women (specific to residents of Montgomery county).


MovingOn exercise classes are for breast cancer survivors who have completed treatment. This is a unique exercise environment in that the class is led by Lockey Maisonneuve, a personal trainer who was diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer. Ms. Maisonneuve is certified to work with people affected by breast cancer. In addition to classes offered in New Jersey, MovingOn holds or co-sponosrs seminars and retreats in nearby areas, such as Quakertown, Pa.

Paoli Hospital Lymphedema Management Program

The Lymphedema Management Program at Paoli Hospital, offered in collaboration with the Member of the National Lymphedema Network, offers a full continuum of care. Under physician direction, specially-trained and experienced occupation and/or physical therapists employ a variety of techniques to help patients better manage the symptoms associated with lymphedema. The best results are achieved with early and continued treatment.

Philadelphia Black Women's Health Alliance

The mission of the Black Women’s Health Alliance is to improve healthcare outcomes and eliminate and/or reduce health disparities experienced by women of African Ancestry, other women of color, and their families through advocacy, education, research and support activities, programs and services.

Philadelphia Unemployment Project (PUP)

The Philadelphia Unemployment Project provides direct services to low-income, unemployed and medically uninsured individuals in Philadelphia.

Southeastern Home Health Services Oncology Program

Provides oncology home care services designed for people receiving cancer treatment. Supports cancer patients in their homes with skilled nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical social workers, nutritionists and home health aides. Their cancer rehabilitation services help to address disease and medication management, pain and fatigue management and administering intravenous therapies such as chemotherapy.

The Breathing Room Foundation, Inc.

The mission of The Breathing Room Foundation is to reach out to every family within a twenty-mile radius who has a member suffering from cancer. They strive to provide a family with whatever it is that will allow them a bit of "breathing room" from their daily struggle against cancer to allow them to concentrate all of their efforts toward regaining their physical health.
