Breast Cancer Recovery Foundation, Inc.

Provide environments for women to heal emotionally, spiritually and physically from breast cancer. BCRF’s flagship program, Infinite Boundaries, is a four-day wellness program for women who have experienced breast cancer. Designed by breast cancer survivors for breast cancer survivors, each retreat features a unique mixture of healing approaches: uplifting discussions, creative arts and outdoor adventures.

Casting for Recovery

Casting for Recovery is a nationally recognized not for profit program established in 1996. It provides an opportunity for women whose lives have been profoundly affected by breast cancer to experience physical, emotional, and spiritual healing through retreats in a beautiful natural setting; and learn fly-fishing, a sport for life.

Expedition Inspiration

The purpose of The Expedition Inspiration Fund for Breast Cancer Research is to raise awareness and monies to benefit breast cancer research through research project funding, public education, and patient support. Additionally, through organized and sponsored outdoor endeavors, Expedition Inspiration promotes the physical and mental well being of breast cancer survivors.

Harmony Hill Cancer Retreats

Harmony Hill’s cancer retreats are weekend residential programs that help those facing cancer, and their loved ones, cope with the physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges of cancer.

Image Reborn

The mission of Image Reborn is to provide no-cost healing retreats to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. The focus is on encouraging women to reclaim their sense of personal power and to strengthen them in their journey toward healing on all levels and living fully.

Life Beyond Cancer Retreat

Life Beyond Cancer Retreat is a four-day retreat for women affected by breast cancer who have completed active treatment, focusing on issues related to wellness after cancer treatment, along with self and community advocacy.

Smith Farm Center for Healing and the Arts Cancer Help Program

Smith Farm Center for Healing and the Arts is a Washington, DC-based nonprofit health, education and creative arts organization that serves individuals, families and communities affected by cancer and other serious illness. Cancer Help Program Residential Retreats are one of the foundations of their work. Nestled in a lodge setting amidst the rolling hills just beyond Washington DC, participants and caregivers explore, educate, nourish, renew and reclaim their inner resources for healing.

Women's Wellness at Grass Lake Sanctuary

Michigan-based Grass Lake Sanctuary offers a special three-day program for women affected by breast cancer who have completed active treatment. The Women's Wellness Weekend Retreat for Breast Cancer Survivors offers life-balancing experiences including beautiful and comfy bungalow accommodations, relaxing therapeutic massages, nature and art activities, learning about nutritional recipes and more.

The Women's Wilderness Institute

In the spirit of supporting women who are facing a bump in the trail, The Women's Wilderness Institute offers courses especially designed to use the healing power of the natural world. The Transitions Program allows women who are actively working on their personal growth or recovery to gain the courage and commitment to take the next step forward. Courses include camping, climbing, expressive arts, and journaling, and are designed to accommodate a wide range of physical abilities and outdoor experience. Financial aid is available for these courses.
