She later worked as a production editor for the academic publishing company Taylor & Francis, managing production work on a portfolio of scholarly journals in disciplines such as nutrition, social work, end-of-life and palliative care, psychology, and multicultural studies, among others. She simultaneously served as a manager of the peer-review process.
Michelle’s passion for service and advocacy extends beyond the office. She serves as a volunteer emergency department liaison at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, Pa., and as a dedicated volunteer for the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Scleroderma Foundation. During her spare time, Michelle also enjoys photography, playing guitar, jogging along Boathouse Row in Philadelphia, attending cultural events, listening to NPR, cooking with whole foods, and spending time with the wonderful people in her life.
