Josh Fernandez, Digital Media Specialist

As digital media specialist, Josh plays a primary role in carrying out a coordinated online presence for Living Beyond Breast Cancer informed by the organization's marketing strategy employing website analytics, social media messaging and e-communications.He works collaboratively to implement marketing and communications that leverage the social media space. Josh also curates content across third-party online media channels. He also manages and grows LBBC's presence across channels, including but not limited to blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.

Born and raised in Delaware County, Josh graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and women’s studies. Before joining LBBC, Josh was an online reporter and producer of’s blog, Neighbors Main Line, where he wrote news and feature stories about the suburbs located along Lancaster Avenue. His other work history includes reporter/writer for The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Philadelphia Daily News and Philadelphia City Paper and development intern for The Attic Youth Center in Philadelphia. Josh started working for LBBC in 2012 as writer and Web content coordinator. 

In his spare time, Josh enjoys reading, writing, spending time with family and friends, cooking, jogging, exploring Philadelphia’s food scene and watching excessive amounts of TV and film.
