Wanda E. Flowers, Esq
Wanda Flowers is secretary of Living Beyond Breast Cancer's board of directors, which she joined in 2010. She is very active in numerous professional and community activities and has been recognized for her commitment to her profession and dedication to the community.
Ms. Flowers is assistant general counsel at Sunoco, Inc., where she is responsible for the company’s compliance with federal, state and local labor and employment laws. Prior to joining Sunoco, Ms. Flowers served 17 years with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in Philadelphia. Ms. Flowers regularly speaks on employment topics. In addition to LBBC, she serves on the Boards of Directors of the Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP) and the Center for Literacy (CFL). In 2003, Ms. Flowers was featured in the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s The Diversity & the Bar Magazine in an article titled “15 Leaders to Watch”. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Bethune-Cookman University, a master’s degree in English from Florida State University and a law degree from UCLA.
