Claudine Isaacs, MD, FRCPC
Claudine Isaacs, MD, FRCPC is the co-director of the breast cancer program and the medical director of the Fisher Center for Familial Cancer Research at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University, where she is also professor of medicine and oncology. She has practiced as a breast medical oncologist for over 20 years.
Dr. Isaacs has published extensively in the areas of breast cancer and hereditary breast cancer. She has significant experience conducting clinical trials focusing on the treatment of early-stage and metastatic breast cancer. Additional research interests include cancer risk assessment and medical management and prevention strategies for women at high risk of developing breast cancer. She has served on a number of committees including the Cancer Education Committee at American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the ASCO Scientific Program Committee and is a member of the Breast Oncology Local Diseases Task Force of the Breast Steering Committee of the NCI.
