Kellie Martens of The University of Colorado, Denver is recruiting participants for an online study exploring the factors that influence post-treatment quality of life in young women affected by breast cancer.
The goal of the study is to use the data to design support groups and screening methods that may make adjusting to a diagnosis of breast cancer less difficult for young women.
What does the study involve?
The study is currently in the recruitment phase. The lead researcher seeks women who were diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer between the ages of 19 and 45 to learn more about their experiences.
If you wish to participate in the study, you must answer a series of questions in an online survey.
Am I eligible to participate in this study?
You are eligible to take part in the study if you
- were diagnosed with breast cancer between the ages of 19 and 45
- were diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer
- have completed treatment (except for hormonal or antibody therapy)
