Filipa Lynce, MD is a medical oncologist and associate professor of medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center at Georgetown University. She specializes in breast cancer and clinical trials development. Her primary clinical and research interest is new therapies for breast cancer with a particular focus on triple-negative breast cancer, cancer genetics and health disparities. Dr. Lynce has been the recipient of several research awards including a Young Investigator Award from the Conquer Cancer Foundation, the first ASPIRE award from Pfizer in Breast Cancer and an Institutional Research Grant from the American Cancer Society.
