Coping with the everyday obligations of life while undergoing treatment can be overwhelming. Shari Baron, MSN, RN, CNS, CGP discussed:
- Effective ways to feel more in control of daily work and home responsibilities, including managing your time, communicating your needs and providing suitable self-care
- How to adapt caretaking roles, delegate what you can, ask for help, and coordinate family and friends as helpful resources
About Our Speaker
Ms. Baron is a psychiatric clinical nurse specialist and certified group psychotherapist in a private practice in suburban Philadelphia, where she leads long-term, insight-oriented psychotherapy groups. She is a clinical associate at The Wellness Community of Philadelphia, where she facilitates support groups for people with cancer and families. Ms. Baron is a past president of the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and actively participates in nursing and group psychotherapy organizations.
