About Our Speaker

Dr. Oratz is a board certified medical oncologist who specializes in treating women with breast cancer at The Women’s Oncology and Wellness Practice, her practice in New York City. She is clinical associate professor of medicine at the New York University School of Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Oratz has participated in clinical and translational research for more than 20 years and is widely published. She has lectured both locally and nationally and appeared on television and radio segments. Dr. Oratz is chair of the medical advisory board for Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s New York Affiliate and is also on the medical advisory boards for Living Beyond Breast Cancer, breastcancer.org, Cancer and Careers, Sharsheret and The New York City Metastatic Breast Cancer Network. Dr. Oratz also serves as a medical consultant to CancerCare.
