Hi, I am new to the message board and was diagnosed last year with stage 4 and taking Aromison and monthly Zometa.
I'm taking celebrex to help with joint pain (changes from hands, knees, feet). Does anyone else take this for joint pain and if so, what dosage. I know this medication can have long term side effects too. It helped immediately about a month ago, but doesn't seem to be working anymore. Any suggestions or is it something I'm going to have to get used to?

I do believe celebrex works. I had gallbladder surgery and knee surgery and had to go off the celebrex. I was miserable. Within a couple of days of going back on I was much better. I am a celebrex believer especially while on the femara.

I do take Celebrex. I take 200 mg two times a day. There is some literature that says with less inflammation the Femara works better. I still have joint pain but if I stop, I am not sure I will have more. I have done physical therapy and also take Motrin on really bad days.
