Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Leadership Volunteers raise awareness of the organization nationally by furthering our mission to connect people with trusted breast cancer information and a community of support. They act as ambassadors in their community and provide awareness of LBBC’s programs, participate in fundraising efforts and extend our reach across the country.
Breast Cancer Helpline Volunteer
Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Helpline Volunteer Program provides the tools and training to provide peer emotional support to those affected by breast cancer. All volunteers receive extensive training and must be at least one year beyond active treatment or living with metastatic breast cancer. Learn more.
Community Connector Volunteer
Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Community Connector Volunteer Program provides the tools and training to make a difference by sharing LBBC resources, support/education programs and grassroots fundraising efforts to their community. You will serve as the key link between local communities and the LBBC national office. Hear My Voice Outreach Volunteer
Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Hear My Voice: Outreach Volunteer Program provides the tools and training to help people living with metastatic breast cancer make a difference in their physical and digital communities. If you want to discover who you are as an advocate, learn how to educate others about metastatic breast cancer and connect those living with the disease to resources and a sense of community, this program is for you. Young Advocate Volunteer
Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Young Advocate Program provides the tools and training to help young women use their personal breast cancer experience to make a difference in their communities by raising awareness, further their understanding of the disease and advocate for others. This training program is for women diagnosed with breast cancer before age 45, who have limited incomes and were diagnosed within the last 3 years or are living with metastatic breast cancer.
