Amelia

Amelia is the founder of How to Breast Cancer, an organization focused on helping people navigate their cancer journey. She is dedicated to helping people with breast cancer, their loved ones, caregivers, and community. She has spent the last 20 years serving in executive roles, with a focus on human resources, for several Fortune 500 companies. Amelia was born in Havana, Cuba, and immigrated to the U.S. in 1980. She grew up in the Tampa, Florida, area and earned a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of South Florida. Serving as an inspiration and helping others with their journey brings her great joy, as well as the support of her family, her partner of 12 years, and her beloved dog-child.
