Terri shared a passion for science and the education of women affected by breast cancer. She was diagnosed as a young woman, and 12 years later was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer. She attended many conferences on breast cancer, and actively shared the information she learned with other women living with breast cancer.

Terri was interested in research advocacy. She had a master's degree in electrical engineering and worked for 30 years in the automotive industry, including supervising global teams of engineers. Working with people and teaching them new skills brought her joy.
