Taking care of people and teaching have been lifelong passions for Libbey. The majority of her nursing career has been spent in hospice, palliative care, and in oncology. She truly enjoys learning about anything in the fields of medicine and science.
Libbey has worked as a treatment nurse in an infusion center and also as an oncology educator for a large service line. In both roles it has been clear to Libbey that she enjoys finding interesting ways to explain things to others in ways they can understand.
Libbey always tells her kids to find a way to get paid for doing what they love because that’s exactly what she feels privileged to do every day. She is so thankful to have the ability to spend her time helping people as a survivorship nurse navigator in oncology.
