Amy Andersson is a 10-year breast cancer survivor as well as a 3-time melanoma survivor. She had genetic testing shortly after her stage IIIC breast cancer diagnosis because both her father and her paternal grandmother also had breast cancer. The tests showed that Amy has the BRCA2 genetic mutation, which led her to choose further surgeries to prevent cancer and to have family discussions to make decisions related to the mutation. In her professional life, Amy is a certified public account (CPA) with her own business, Price Turner CFOs, a company that provides small and medium sized businesses with accounting and chief financial officer services. She previously worked with large multi-national companies and with a cancer nonprofit organization. She frequently volunteers with Rotary and other organizations.
