Deborah Boyle, MSN, RN, AOCNS, FAAN

Deborah Boyle, MSN, RN, AOCNS, FAAN, is the oncology clinical nurse specialist/palliative care nurse lead at the University of California Irvine Health/Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, in Orange County, California.

An early leader in oncology nursing, Debi has practiced in this field for over four decades. She has worked as an educator, clinical nurse specialist, advanced practice nurse liaison, program leader and researcher. In 1999, she was inducted as a fellow into the American Academy of Nursing, a privilege offered to only 1,000 of America’s over 3 million nurses. The Yale School of Nursing, her alma mater, honored her with their distinguished alumnae award in 1994. Debi has delivered over 600 presentations to audiences in 46 states and in 14 countries.
