Elizabeth S. Ginsburg, MD, is director of the Assisted Reproductive Technologies program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and an associate professor of obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive biology at Harvard Medical School, in Boston. She also has privileges at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Boston Children’s Hospital. She is a past president of the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technologies, the professional organization that sets practice standards for the performance of assisted reproduction in the United States.

Dr. Ginsburg’s clinical and research efforts have focused on the fertility of cancer survivors and fertility preservation methods. She is on the editorial boards of several medical journals and is the editor of a medical textbook on in vitro fertilization.
