Stefan Glück, MD, PhD, is a Sylvester professor and medical oncologist in the department of medicine at the Miller School of Medicine of the University of Miami in Florida. Prior to this appointment, he was the clinical director of the Braman Family Breast Cancer Institute, assistant director of the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and associate chief of the Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Before his move to Miami, Dr.Glück directed the Southern Alberta Breast Cancer Program at the Tom Baker Cancer Center; served as a professor in the departments of oncology, medicine, pharmacology, and therapeutics at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada; and was deputy head of the department of oncology at the University of Calgary.

Dr. Glück has a special interest in clinical trials in breast cancer. He is a primary investigator of 29 clinical studies in breast cancer in Miami, and an investigator of numerous scientific, translational projects. Dr. Glück is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the European Society for Medical Oncology, the American and European Association of Cancer Research, and the International Association for Breast Cancer Research.

In 2008, he was presented with the America’s Top Oncologists award from Consumers’ Research Council of America; he also received the Best Doctors in America honor in 2006, and has annually earned that prestige every year, including in 2012. He received this award after less than 3 years of working in the United States.

In addition to his clinical practice and research, Dr. Glück serves as a reviewer for journals such as the Journal of ClinicalOncology, European Journal of Cancer, Lancet Oncology, Lancet, Breast Cancer Research, The Oncologist, The Breast Journal, Clinical Breast Cancer and many others. He is medical associate editor of Breast Cancer Research and Treatment and co-editor in chief of the Journal of Carcinogenesis. He has authored or co-authored more than 200 articles and has written or co-written a number of book chapters and numerous journal abstracts. He has presented more than 350 papers.
