About My Memoir:

Living with breast cancer is messy, uneven and full of texture. My project is all of this sprinkled with my gut reaction to the last 15 years.

Advice for Others with Metastatic Breast Cancer:

Be your own advocate. Find a support system; LBBC is the perfect place for this. Feel your feelings and then get back to life. Be nice to yourself. Breathe.

Why I’m a Hear My Voice Volunteer:

I didn't realize how alone I felt until I was around others living with similar challenges. I've learned a great deal about advocacy work and I have miles to go, but I'm OK with this. It doesn't end when I'm finished with this program.
