The What If's

Michael Kovarik

About My Memoir:

I want people to know what metastatic breast cancer is, how it affects our community, the hold scanxiety has on those of us living with MBC, and the importance of research and the hope we possess in it extending our lives.

Advice for Others with Metastatic Breast Cancer:

My advice for those diagnosed with MBC is to connect with the community of thrivers. I want them to see the importance of research in our ability to live longer and better with this disease.

Why I’m a Hear My Voice Volunteer:

Hear My Voice has connected me to some amazing, compassionate individuals who strive to live full lives with this disease. It has strengthened my voice for advocacy and the need to be involved in increasing funding for research that will extend and lengthen our lives.
