Breast Cancer Awareness Month Partner Spotlight: These Great Items Benefit LBBC This Fall!

In 2015, more than 50 companies, big and small, were LBBC Shop to Support partners. They supported LBBC during Breast Cancer Awareness Month by selling everything from jewelry to clothing to food and beverages. Their contributions, combined with our other corporate support, totaled more than $1.7 million. This support is vital to LBBC.

“Living Beyond Breast Cancer provides such great resources to those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer,” says Dana Donofree, owner of lingerie company AnaOno Intimates. “As a Shop to Support partner, I am able to contribute more money than if I just made a straight donation. In addition, I’m able to help LBBC gain visibility.”

Support. Strength. Hope.” is the theme for this year’s Soma campaign. Soma carries a full range of intimates, including comfortable and supportive mastectomy and post-surgical bras. For every bra sold from October 5-19, Soma will donate $1 to LBBC. Customers can also make a donation in boutiques across the country and online at soma.com.

 

White House | Black Market has been LBBC’s most dedicated and generous partner for more than a decade, and this year the Give Hope Collection is back! The creative team at WHBM works hard to develop these special items that are popular with their customers across the country. The three new products for 2016 are the Give Hope Tee, the Give Hope Scarf and the Give Hope Tray. A portion of proceeds from each of these items will benefit LBBC. This year jane iredale introduces its new Lemongrass Love Hydration Spray, formulated to condition and protect all skin types.

LBBC is pleased to welcome one of our new partners, San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS), to the  Shop to Support family! SAS shoes are carried in more than 200 SAS stores as well as numerous independent retailers around the world. SAS continues to be a family-owned company committed to providing fit and quality. In October, SAS will sell the Sunny LTD Light Pink (Rose Water) loafer and Faith LTD sandal in Pink and Silver to benefit LBBC. Ana Ono Intimates, a lingerie line designed especially for women who have had breast cancer, is a Beyond October Shop to Support Partner, meaning their support is all year round. Ana Ono will donate 5 percent of proceeds from the Rachel bra and the Alejandra bra to LBBC. These confidence-boosting bras are for women who have dealt with breast cancer, a mastectomy, or are looking for sexy lingerie post-surgery. For more information, visit anaono.com.

Now through December 15, federal workers can donate to LBBC through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace payroll deduction giving program. Designate giving code #78012 to make a monthly gift.

If you live in the Delaware Valley, you can support LBBC through the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey’s Donor Choice Program. Employees of any company that supports United Way can enroll in regular contributions to LBBC through payroll deduction. Just choose LBBC’s code: 10172. If you live outside the greater Philadelphia area, simply contact your local United Way and provide LBBC’s employer identification number (EIN), 23-2734689, and address, 40 Monument Road, Suite 104, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, to designate your gift to us.
