Oligometastatic breast cancer

Many people, and even doctors, are not familiar with the term oligometastatic breast cancer. Oligometastatic breast cancer is characterized by single or few detectable metastatic lesions at the time of diagnosis. People with oligomets may have improved outcomes and may even experience treatment as curative.
