Lisa Bayard

Lisa Bayard has been involved with Living Beyond Breast Cancer since 1995. She has helped raised funds for LBBC through several events and has served as gala co-chair. She was elected to the LBBC board of directors in 2006. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 1994, Ms. Bayard found LBBC's semi-annual conferences extremely helpful. She has brought many friends and colleagues to conferences, the gala and other regional events. Ms. Bayard was a 2004 gala honoree.

A graduate of Penn State University, Ms. Bayard has spent 15 years in educational publishing in sales and marketing. She was the past-president of the college publishing division of CBS. In 1987, Ms. Bayard bought and opened six Sylvan Learning Centers in the Philadelphia suburbs, Delaware and south Jersey and within eight years was running all of Sylvan's corporate-owned centers. She has won various awards in publishing and at Sylvan. Ms. Bayard enjoys travel, biking and skiing.
