Kimberley Robinson is a recently retired human resources and finance professional.
A native of Washington, DC, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management, accounting, from the University of Maryland, and a master’s degree in human resources management, personal management, from Central Michigan University. She has worked in the non-profit sector for over three decades and solely for women’s reproductive rights for more than 24 years. Kimberley worked in the financial sector as a finance director for more than 20 years and as a human resources professional for over 15 years. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and currently sits on the board of directors for the Highgrove Community Association.
Kimberley is divorced and a proud mother of two adult daughters, Brittney Oliver and Ashley Brooks, and one adult son, Xavier Robinson. She is also a proud grandmother of three grandsons, Mason and Liam Oliver, and Karson Murphy. Kimberley is the oldest of five siblings, four girls, and one boy (youngest). Her father is living, and her mother is deceased.
In May 2023, Kimberley was diagnosed with stage II breast cancer — ductal carcinoma in situ, estrogen receptor positive. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Kimberley resides with her significant other, Michael Cherry, in White Plains, Maryland.
