Jill E. Stopfer, MS, LGC, is associate director of genetic counseling at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. She was among the first genetic counselors in the country to focus primarily in oncology and has worked over the years on many educational and policy initiatives.
She counsels individuals and families with hereditary risks to cancer, and works on a number of research projects looking to optimize the way genetic counseling is offered.
Previously, Jill served as a senior genetic counselor for more than 20 years at the Abramson Cancer Center of the University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Stopfer is a member of LBBC’s Medical Advisory Board.
