Terri Lynn Woodard, MD, is an associate professor in the department of gynecologic oncology and reproductive medicine at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and holds a joint appointment at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. In 2012, she started the MD Anderson Oncofertility Program, a unique service that provides comprehensive fertility care to people before and after cancer treatment. In addition to clinical care, she conducts research on reproductive and oncologic outcomes as well as patient decision-making about fertility preservation, and has received several grants and awards for her work.

Dr. Woodard is committed to generating awareness and knowledge of cancer-related infertility and dedicates a significant amount of time teaching the lay public, trainees, and colleagues about the topic. She is also heavily involved in advocacy work, specifically in improving access to fertility care for all who need it.
