Megan has been one of two breast cancer nurse navigators at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia for the last seven years. She is an oncology certified nurse (OCN) and a certified breast care nurse (CBCN), as well as an active member of the Fox Chase Cancer Center oncofertility program.
Megan feels fortunate to work as a member of the breast cancer multidisciplinary team at Fox Chase where she has the opportunity to continually learn and grow. Megan works with breast cancer patients from as early as first symptoms and then through diagnostic work up, treatment planning, and survivorship. She provides education, resources, and helps patients in decreasing barriers to care. Megan firmly believes that survivorship begins at the time of diagnosis.
