Sherri works as the nurse navigator for Pottstown Hospital’s oncology department and breast program. She has 23 years of experience in health care with 17 years as a registered nurse.
She is the mother of two teenage sons with her husband of 19 years and enjoys her time at the football and baseball fields cheering them on. Motherhood took precedence to her professional nursing goals. She finished her bachelor’s degree in nursing as well as her oncology certification in 2015 as an adult learner.
Along her journey in oncology nursing, she was inspired by a patient to become a founding board member of the non-profit organization, Stretch the Ride. She has proudly continued the role of executive director since 2010. The organization has helped over 350 local patients and their families who are affected by the cancer diagnosis with financial support and acts of kindness. On December 10, 2022, Sherri was honored by the Pottsgrove School District for distinguished achievement in her chosen profession and contributions to the community through her charitable work.
