Gina's relationship with LBBC began after receiving a triple negative breast cancer diagnosis in July 2017, when she sought out support to navigate her treatment options. She is the 8th out of 8 children (5 girls, 3 boys). One of her sisters is a survivor as well as four of her first cousins. However, breast cancer has taken the life of her aunt.
