By airplane

The Philadelphia International Airport services the Philadelphia area and is just seven miles from Center City. There are several options to get you from the airport to the conference hotel.

Airport train

SEPTA’s Regional Rail system provides trains to Center City Philadelphia which depart from Philadelphia International Airport. If interested to take the Regional Rail service into Center City Philadelphia, take the regional rail to SEPTA's Jefferson Station stop, located on Market St. between 10th & 12th Sts. The conference hotel, however, is not within walking distance from this train station. We suggest a taxi or rideshare the rest of the way to the hotel.


Philadelphia taxis charge a flat rate of $28.50, plus $1 per passenger (max $3) for travel between Center City and the airport.


By train

AMTRAK runs directly to Philadelphia’s 30th Street Station with service to the surrounding areas and throughout the United States. Visit AMTRAK's website for timetables and train information.


By bus

Buses run to Philadelphia’s Greyhound Station. Please visit Greyhound's website for schedules into the Philadelphia’s Greyhound Bus Station located at 1001 Filbert Street in downtown Philadelphia. We recommend a taxi or rideshare from Philadelphia’s Greyhound Station to the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing.


By car

By car, Philadelphia is just two hours from New York City, 90 minutes from Baltimore, three hours from Washington D.C. and about an hour from Lancaster County, Atlantic City and the New Jersey shore via major highways. For individuals who travel to the conference by car, the conference will be held at Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing located at 201 S Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia PA 19106.



Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing (Host Hotel and Conference Venue)

We have secured a block of sleeping rooms at the discounted rate of $199 plus 16.25 % tax, per night. Availability is limited and rooms at this rate are available until Thursday, April 6, 2023, or until the block is sold out. Please make reservations online or via phone:

  • Online: You can make your reservations at the Hilton Philadelphia hotel and receive the discounted rate through a LBBC dedicated website
  • By phone: You can call the Hilton Philadelphia hotel via their Central Reservations at 1-800-HILTONS. It is important you identify yourself as part of the Living Beyond Breast Cancer group in order to receive the group rate.

Self-parking at the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn's Landing is $18 for 0-6 hours, $24 for 6-12 hours and $35 overnight. Valet parking is available at the rate of $32 daily and $49 overnight. Self-parking and overnight valet prices include in-and-out privileges. Daily valet does not include in-and-out privileges.

Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia - Penn's Landing

We have secured an additional block of sleeping rooms, if needed, at the discounted rate of $189 plus 16.25 % tax, per night. Availability is limited. The deadline to receive the discounted sleeping room rate, based on availability, is Friday, April 14, 2023.

  • Parking at the Holiday Inn Express Philadelphia at Penn's Landing is $32 overnight, with in and out privileges.

The Holiday Inn is located .6 miles from the Hilton Philadelphia at Penn’s Landing (the host hotel and conference venue) and is approximately an 11-minute walk. Alternatively, you could arrange for a taxi or ride share carrier or take public transportation via the 25 bus route on Columbus Blvd. and Race St. (going towards Columbus Commons) to the Columbus Blvd. and Dock St. stop. It is a 3-4 minute bus ride and the cost is $2.50 one-way payable by exact cash aboard the bus.
