Alexandra Zimmer, MD

Alexandra S. Zimmer, MD, MSc, has focused her research on metastatic breast and ovarian cancers, with a special interest in brain metastases and the translation of bench research to clinical trials. Dr. Zimmer has developed a novel secondary brain metastasis prevention trial design, currently open as a phase I/II trial of ado-trastuzumab emtansine (Kadcyla). Dr. Zimmer is a recipient of the ASCO Career Development Award 2018.
