Transforming challenges into advocacy and education
Following a diagnosis of early-stage hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in 2013, Bobbi’s journey with breast cancer has become a powerful source of advocacy and education for herself and others. Bobbi experienced side effects from medication, such as weight gain, which made pursuing healthy choices a struggle. However, she’s remained committed to understanding her condition and advocating for herself. Bobbi doesn’t stop there, though. She shares her knowledge with family, friends, and the community to empower them with resources and support.
Health is your wealth, and if you don't have your health, then what do you have?
Advocating for others
Bobbi stresses the importance of health within the Black community. She encourages others to prioritize their well-being and incorporate exercise into their lives. For Bobbi, the goal is to promote healthy habits in future generations.
