For years there has been a call to do more for people living with metastatic breast cancer (MBC). Living Beyond Breast Cancer has consistently answered that call through our intentional curation of resources and our programs informed by conversations with people who are living with MBC. In 2006, we hosted our first Conference on Metastatic Breast Cancer.

The conference continues to grow and provide informative sessions led by medical and wellness professionals, and panels highlighting the lived experiences of people in the metastatic community.

Each year, we provide attendees with the latest information on research and treatment options, as well as sessions that discuss the often-overlooked emotional effects of a diagnosis. We seek to provide a space that acknowledges the whole person in an environment that fosters community and connection.

Our staff, along with the leadership volunteers who comprise our planning committee, ensure that the annual conference remains relevant and inclusive of all the ways people experience this disease.
