Fredika M. Robertson, PhD, is a tenured professor in the division of hematology/oncology and palliative care at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, in Richmond, Virginia. She is also executive director of clinical research services at the university’s Center for Clinical and Translational Research. She is a leader in the study of inflammatory breast cancer.

Dr. Robertson was previously a professor in the department of experimental therapeutics at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, where she was also co-director of the Experimental Therapeutics Academic Program and director of the Breast Cancer Translational Research Laboratory.

Before that, Robertson was a professor in the department of microbiology, virology, immunology and medical genetics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She was also director of the Analytical Cytometry Core Laboratory at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital.
