Introduction and directions

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Hear My Voice Metastatic Advocacy Program. If you have not yet reviewed the Hear My Voice program details on the LBBC website, please do so before completing this application. Hear My Voice volunteers are expected to take part in the full virtual training (Sessions 1-4) and complete self-paced learning modules (approximately 1-2 hours). If accepted into the program, we ask that you make at least a one-year commitment to the program.

2026 Hear My Voice virtual training sessions – all times are ET

  • Session 1: Friday, March 13 – 12:00pm-4:00pm ET
  • Session 2: Friday, March 20 – 12:00pm-4:00pm ET
  • Session 3: Saturday, March 21 – 12:00pm-4:00pm ET
  • Session 4: Sunday, March 22 – 12:00pm-4:00pm ET

Optional: Opportunity to attend LBBC’s in-person Conference on Metastatic Breast Cancer – The 2026 Hear My Voice program cohort will have the optional opportunity to travel to Philadelphia for LBBC’s annual Conference on Metastatic Breast Cancer from Friday, April 17 to Sunday, April 19. Financial stipends will be provided to those who are accepted and have completed training as a 2026 Hear My Voice advocate. For more information, refer to the website.

This application is for new Hear My Voice advocates. If you have already taken part in a Hear My Voice, Young Advocate or Community Connector training, do not use this application. If you would like to be reconnected with the LBBC volunteer network, email jlleonart@lbbc.org.

The application takes about 15-20 minutes to complete. We recommend completing your personal statement in a word document, so you have a back-up copy. You will receive a confirmation email when you have successfully submitted your application.
