Kim Selig, MSW



Kim Selig is the coordinator of the Young Women’s Breast Cancer Program (YWBCP) at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo. YWBCP is dedicated to serving women diagnosed with breast cancer at age 45 or younger and their families by offering support, education, and community; advocating for young women through diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship; and, advancing research focused on early-onset breast cancer. Kim has a Masters in Social Work and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Washington University.

In addition to her work with YWBCP, Kim has provided social work services in pediatric and adult healthcare settings, managed grant-funded mental health research projects, and coordinated a community-wide domestic violence task force. She lives in St. Louis with her husband and three daughters. Kim’s mom was diagnosed with breast cancer at age 40, and working with young survivors is very close to her heart.
