Kristin Smith

Kristin N. Smith is a patient navigator for fertility preservation at the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University in Chicago.

Ms. Smith consults with all young, newly diagnosed oncology patients at Northwestern’s Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center to help them understand their individual fertility risk associated with impending treatment, as well as options for fertility preservation. She works extensively with young adult oncology survivors to help them explore their unique family-building options. Ms. Smith helps run the National Physicians Cooperative of the Oncofertility Consortium by providing support across the country to providers who participate in national fertility preservation studies.

Ms. Smith also answers the organization’s fertility hotline to help triage patients for fertility preservation services across the country.
