Mark Robson, MD



Mark Robson, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist and director of the Clinical Genetics Service at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, where he specializes in the care of people with an inherited increased risk of developing cancer.

Dr. Robson helps people diagnosed with cancer use genetic information to guide their treatment decisions, and those who are at increased risk but are undiagnosed take preventive action. His research focuses on how to use genetic information to improve cancer care for people at high risk for hereditary cancers.

As an oncologist, Dr. Robson specializes in the care of young women and young women with hereditary cancers. He also coordinates screening for BRCA1 and BRCA2 gene mutations.
