Matthew Ellis BSc, MB, BChir, PhD, FRCP
Matthew J. Ellis, BSc, MB, BChir, PhD, FRCP is director of the breast cancer program, head of medical oncology, and professor of medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis. A board certified physician in internal medicine and medical oncology, he also serves as Anheuser-Busch chair in medical oncology at Barnes Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Ellis’ research interests focus on breast cancer and include insulin-like growth factor signaling, hormonal therapy, signal transduction therapy, systemic therapy before surgery and breast cancer gene expression.
He is on the editorial board of Breast Cancer Research and Treatment and Biomed Central Cancer and is the reviewer and author of many published articles.
